Nurse Practitioner

Lisa Bowen-Bender, MSN, APRN, AG-ACNP Nurse Bowen-Bender is joining South Heart Clinic, primarily assisting Dr Yardley in his practice. She is married, has three daughters and has lived in the RGV for 36 years. She graduated with her undergraduate degree locally from Texas Southmost College - Brownsville in 1997. After gaining 17 years of valuable experience as a nurse in the ICU, she returned to Vanderbilt University in Tennessee and received her Master’s Degree in Nursing Science performing her critical care residency locally. Now as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner for the past 10 years, she has served both the Harlingen and Brownsville communities in local hospitals and physician offices. We are happy to announce that she will continue to serve our community at South Heart Clinic.
